I work a lot with Smart Notebook pages and am please that you can now put video on the page and save it – just like PowerPoint always could.
I often capture video from the net – see other page – which is usually in Flv format.
Sometimes I take my own video files – which are usually Avi or Mpeg – and I need to convert them to the flv format to put them into Smart notebook.
I use Swish Video – I’ve had it a year or 2 and it did cost me about £20, but it’s so useful. Just drag your video into Swish and it’ll ask you what kind of file you want to convert it into – it offers flv and also swf [a flash file in a web page].
There are probably other pieces of freeware out there that do the same thing.
